To most people, buying a calcium supplement is as easy as buying a pack that says calcium on it. What about the form of the calcium (calcium citrate, or carbonate? Its bioavailability? Any studies that test specific brand claims?) When buying detergents, do you know the actual scientific difference between dish soap, degreaser, toilet cleaner, laundry detergent? Or did you ever read what specific insecticide is used in the bottle you are picking, and looked into any studies that compare it with the efficacy of other options? When buying a flight ticket. The many variables I use to decide which flight to take include the airplane’s model number and reviews of seats on that specific plane. Do you know where the best spot to place your food in your microwave is, and why it’s that spot?
